Natalie Biagi Leukemia Victory Info

Natalie Biagi is the six-year-old daughter of Rob and Kathleen Biagi of Southern California.  Rob is a Christian “kids-and-family” singer/songwriter, and Kathleen is his wife and choreographer.  Go to www.robbiagi.com to find out more about the Biagi Family’s music and ministry (or check out the “Family” page on this website).

Little Natalie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) on October 1, 2007.  This website was created so you could have detailed updates about Natalie’s treatment and condition (and some personal/family stuff, too!) as often as you like.

UPDATE: On July 1, 2008, exactly 9 months after little Natalie’s diagnosis, Rob was diagnosed with CML (Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia).  That’s 2 cases of Leukemia in one family - a “one-in-a-million” coincidence.

Rob’s condition is very different from Natalie’s.  Rob’s white blood cell count has been stabilized with a medicine called Gleevec, which he is currently taking.  “My meds are working wonderfully,” says Rob, who had complained of fatigue and a “lump” in his abdomen after a summer performance in 2008.  He was diagnosed with Leukemia just 3 days later.  “I’m at about 80% [of my usual energy level], so that’s doable.  The doctor said I’m ‘clear’ to do all my usual stuff.”

We didn’t think a third website to talk about Rob’s Leukemia was necessary, so there’s no mention of it anywhere except here. (and Rob mentions it from stage at concerts)

ANOTHER (PRAISE!) UPDATE: On December 4, 2009, Natalie got her last chemo at Rob’s doctor discovered that he was in remission - on the same day!  Hallelujah, thank you God!

Thanks for visiting Natalie’s site today.
